The Katahdin Shadows campground raises funding all year for the Shriners Hospitals for Children, having donated on the order of $500,000 over the last 25 years. Their big event is NASCARS weekend, when local Shriners bring their kit racing cars to show them off. Other fundraisers are tee shirts, a food truck, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, a live auction, a rubber duckie race and cornhole. This year, they donated about $36,000 toward medical care for children. Here are some pictures of the festivities.
