One of the theme weekends at Katahdin Shadows is Adult Weekend, each year in mid September. It’s the last theme weekend before folks start closing their camp for the winter. Kids are already back at school, so the adults play. This year, the theme was Roaring 20s.
The weekend started with a Friday-night dance at the open air pavilion with most folks in costume. Here are a few photos:
On Saturday afternoon, the evening started with a “pub crawl.” Participants went from campsite to campsite, enjoying the decorations, libations and snacks. The first stop was our site, and we treated everyone to rum-soaked banana pudding! Here are some photos:
